Greater Philadelphia Regional Service of Narcotics Anonymous (GPRSONA) owns and operates a number of different sites on the Web. GPRSONA is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its user community. The intent of this privacy policy is to detail the information GPRSONA may gather about individuals who visit our sites, how that information is used, and GPRSONA disclosure practices. Please note that this policy applies only to the GPRSONA Sites, and not to the Web sites of other companies or organizations to which we provide links to from our site.
GPRSONA collects some anonymous information each time you visit a GPRSONA Site so we can improve the overall quality of your online experience. We collect your IP address, referral data, and browser and platform type. You do not have to register with GPRSONA before we can collect this anonymous information.
The GPRSONA Sites do not require you to share information that identifies you personally, such as your name or e-mail address, in order for you to use the GPRSONA Sites. The GPRSONA Sites may assign an anonymous ID number to your requests and links the following additional data to that number: the date and time you visited the GPRSONA Site, your search terms, and the links upon which you choose to click. Like most standard Web site servers, we use log files to collect and store this anonymous user information. GPRSONA analyzes the information to examine trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
From time-to-time the GPRSONA Sites request information from you that may identify you personally in addition to the anonymous information described above. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name, e-mail address, shipping address, and zip code), and demographic information (such as age, gender, membership, and clean time). GPRSONA will not use or disclose your individual user information except as described in this privacy policy. GPRSONA collects individual user information in the following ways from different GPRSONA Sites:
From time to time, GPRSONA may conduct surveys or contests on an GPRSONA Site. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose individual user information to the GPRSONA Site. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of the GPRSONA Site. We may use an intermediary to conduct these surveys or contests. These companies may use your personal information to help the GPRSONA Site communicate with you about offers from the GPRSONA Site. Such third parties do not have GPRSONA permission to use your personally identifiable information for any secondary purpose.
When you register for a user group/name on any of the GPRSONA Sites, you are asked for your individual user information. The individual user information may be collected and stored by a third party partner. The partner will not have GPRSONA's permission to use your individual user information for secondary purposes. If you choose to participate in a user group/name, your individual user information will be used to qualify you. GPRSONA may share your individual user information with a third party with whom GPRSONA has entered into an agreement to support such user group/name projects.
